| About Us
This site on Strawberry Hill where David Brown's now stands was believed to have been originally leveled by Captain Francis Light for planting strawberries which grew well here until the outbreak of the Second World War in 1941.
After it’s acquisition David Brown redeveloped the garden, based on the English garden landscape and it’s temperate flora. The Hill Railway Station now occupies part of it’s slope on the North-East side. Subsequently, the site was converted to a small café called “Tea Kiosk”.
This building reflecting the original David Brown’s at Strawberry Hill is now dedicated to the practice of fine country house hospitality in Penang Hill, Malaysia. Press & Reviews Tourism
